Kerry Holmes is the founder and driving force behind Dark Holme Publishing, a UK-based independent publisher dedicated to horror and dark romance. Her lifelong passion for the macabre and supernatural, combined with formal training in Creative Writing and Publishing, fuels a clear mission: to build a vibrant horror community and a direct path between readers and writers.

Under Kerry's leadership, Dark Holme has become a unique hub for dark fiction, famous for its reader-supported

horror magazine, Dark Descent, and its new dark romance magazine, ShadowBound. She champions an open submissions process for writers and artists worldwide, ensuring a diverse range of voices. But her proudest achievement is the Shadowsphere—a thriving, public online community where horror enthusiasts and romance readers connect, discuss stories, and celebrate the genre.
