The man in red arrived in the dead of night,

landing in plain sight,

for he showed no qualms of fright.

But he did change from red to green,

in a matter of minutes,

he dequeened all that was to be seen under that tree.

The man in green dashed for the door,

but instead he got slashed on the cheek with an ornamental goar.

Blood oozed down his cheek.

He smeared the blood across his beak,

giving him an evil chic.

He got away with his prized possessions,

only to be struck down by a hard transgression.

Twas not the long arm of the law,

but a lightning bolt of awe.
