In the gloaming shade they rear like tombs.

It Stares
It stared at me with a quiet resolve
Its eyes deep, burning quietly
It made me uneasy, an omniscient intelligence
Silently sitting in dark thoughts
When I moved only its eyes did
Its presence stirred slightly
It studied me and to this day still
Continues its haunting presence in my soul
