This is where it begins.

Each month, we’ll post calls for:

• Short horror essays, lore pieces, or horror history deep dives

• Artwork or visuals for webzine features

• Creative pieces outside the usual story format (weird theories, mythos, prompts, lists, etc.)
  

We're also looking to interview previously published writers.If you've appeared in Dark Descent, we’d love to feature you — your story, process, inspiration, or descent into horror. Reach out if you’re up for it.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to bring something dark, original, and true to you.
