October's Flash Fiction Frenzy is opening a little early this month as I'm heading away and won't be here to open it at the usual time.

And since it's October, we're giving this one a Halloween theme. 👻

The challenge is the same as always: tell us a complete horror story in just two sentences. The only difference this month is that your story needs to be Halloween themed.

Costumes, trick-or-treaters, Halloween night, old traditions, something knocking at the door... where you take it is entirely up to you.
