Once again, it is raining and pouring, this time you're the one who is snoring, but I've dug my way out, and returned from the grave to stop your incessant snoring.
Every night, I hear my mother sobbing behind the basement door we nailed shut after her funeral. Tonight, the sobs stoppedβand I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
The embers of the fire hissed and crackled around her charred remainsβa wicked smile crept across his blood-smeared face. Knowing this was only the start of something new, a wave of ecstasy washed over his body, and he finally felt alive.
