Your author bio is often the first introduction an editor has to you. It doesn't need to be long or filled with achievements—it just needs to tell readers who you are in a professional and engaging way.

Write a 50–75 word author bio that you would feel confident including with a magazine submission.

If you already have one, this is the perfect opportunity to polish it. If you've never written one before, don't worry—everyone starts somewhere.
