Just for Fun: Fact or Fiction?
Three of these stories are real (seriously, look them up). One is pure fiction. Which one’s the fake?
In 1880s France, a woman was arrested for keeping her sister locked in a dark, sealed room for 25 years. The neighbours only noticed when food deliveries stopped.
An Icelandic fishing village still holds an annual festival to honour the ghost of a sailor who washed ashore in 1761—and was seen walking the cliffs for weeks after.
In 1924, a Chicago hospital accidentally embalmed a patient while he was still alive, mistaking his paralysis for death. The case was quietly buried.
A 17th-century diary describes a man who claimed he saw his own doppelgänger enter his house, sit at his table, and begin to eat his supper—in reverse.
One's fake. The rest are horrifyingly true.Which one are you betting on? Drop your answer below and defend your guess like a proper eldritch scholar. 🕰️🖤

!st one reminds me of an old film that was based on truth, so, true, perhaps? 2nd one. Well, there are lots of ghost type stories like this, so, again, possibly true. 3rd. 😱Personally the whole idea of being embalmed while still alive is terrifying and could've happened back then, maybe? Hmm... but the little bit on the end of this story, 'The case was quietly buried' sounds like the pun of a joke. I'm going with this. Mainly because I don't ever want to think about this as being true. 4th, um...
