Inspired by your photo on Facebook:

Beware the Witches Woods

The headless girl stepped out of the witch-hazel-sapling woods with her fingertips embracing her upside-down face, messaging her cheeks.

Her face grinned ever wider with every step closer toward you standing there alone. Your bloody axe unclean, nor oiled to gleam with strands of her fiery hair stuck to the blade as if a trophy unclaimed.

Her mouth spoke words you had never heard before. How could she still speak aloud?

Come sunrise, she stepped out of the forest alive with her head on her shoulders, while your shredded remains bled out beneath crinkly crisp autumn leaves.
