Horror Poetry: Dark Verse

Public·171 members

Call out...

I want to start a new poetry section in our monthly Dark Descent Mag. If you don't mind sharing a few for publication would be grand :) (Will probably replace the art section).

Many Thanks

Lost It

I misplaced my name before I lost my face.

Forgot the directions before …

Thoughts slipped loose like teeth from an old skull.

The walls of my mind fused askew.

Something inside counted what I could not.

First birthdays. First kisses. First love.

I tried to hold on,

But the mind is a terrible thing to lose,

especially when you’re trapped inside.
